On the 18 December, 2004, Mr Jim Lee on his forum Gelatometti, wanted all to try inking over his pencils of a Batman-Superman page. I found out about this challenge rather late... only have a day before the deadline. But since i'm such a great fan of his work, i wouldn't wanna miss out on this opportunity in the hope of getting some critique from the Man himself. So with very little time but a lot of enthusiasm i've got it done in time.

Guess what, out of tons of submissions from wannabe artists, mine was chosen to be commented...

"Alan Quah sent in this file of his inks over my pencils. Alan reports it took him about 10 hours. That sounds about right. Click on the link to see the file closer up.

WOWSERS!! Looking great!! I love the rougher look you added compared to what Jim Lee's pages usually look like once they're inked. What did you use?

I mainly use pigment ink pens and brush (for touch ups).
